Can humans really MULTI-TASK?

What is MULTI-TASKING? The performance of multiple tasks at one time. Our brains literally aren’t wired to do more than one thing at a time. Multi-tasking is a MYTH. In reality, it's rapidly switching from one task to another. Every time we make a switch, you pay a "TAX" on both your time and your energy. This effort of switching affects your productivity. If you slow down and think about your attention, you'll agree that answering emails while browsing the Web is impossible. It is only with time and motion that our fluttering attention gains the ILLUSION of multitasking.
