Honouring The Great
A warrior with a fierce past, and a knack for battle, Alexander the Great was marred by victory until his untimely passing at the age of 32. A sombre event chronicled in June 323 BC, this pupil of Aristotle's death has drawn much speculation ever since. Although the cause of it is still unknown, the case for poisoning is high, with others including malaria, typhoid and those maladies inculcated from years in battle. While the details of his tomb remain puzzling, ‘Alexander’s Sarcophagus’ can be found in the Istanbul Archaeological Museum, showcasing a bas-relief impression of his true nature.
