Reliance Jio and IIT-Bombay Collaborate on 'Bharat GPT'; New TV Operating System in the Works: Akash Ambani

Reliance Jio Infocomm, led by chairman Akash Ambani, has revealed its collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay for the development of 'Bharat GPT' (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) program. Additionally, Ambani hinted at the comprehensive planning for a new operating system (OS) for televisions. While addressing the annual Techfest at IIT-Bombay, Ambani emphasized the importance of building an ecosystem of development and highlighted ongoing efforts for the vision of "Jio 2.0." He expressed the company's focus on artificial intelligence (AI) applications, predicting that AI will transform various product and service areas. Ambani also mentioned plans for Jio to launch products and services in media, commerce, communication, and devices, and he shared excitement about offering 5G private networks.
