The ‘CO-HO’ Fever

CO-HO is an abbreviation for an author named Colleen Hoover. She is an American writer and a self-made author. Some of us may know her by the books, ‘It Ends with Us’, ‘Ugly Love’, and ‘Verity.’ Many of us tend to connect with certain styles and personalities of authors and it is quite common. The question which arises is, What makes CoHo so different from others?

Rejoinder?

The characters she writes about and the pace at which she does the character development are aptly relatable for the readers as well the common people. The way she expresses the emotions depicted by her characters is eye-capturing and it gives a sense of satisfaction and visualization. One of her critics named Laura Miller says that “ The blandness of Hoover’s characters makes them easy for anyone to identify with, and the smooth, featureless quality of her prose makes her novels easy to breeze through in a day or two.” Which I think is quite an apt description as well as a well-depicted fondness for her. Colleen Hoover writes in a way that is dreamy but at the same time, it pushes you into the periphery of reality. She is a living example of perfect balance and entertainment and a person of inspiration for the new age authors.
